Organised by Red Latinas in Spain on 21 September 2023, the webinar had two main objectives: to present the research report “Political Participation of Migrants in Spain” and to facilitate an exchange of experiences among migrant women involved in local politics in Spain.

The discussion, held in Spanish with simultaneous English translation, centred on the progress of migrant women’s political participation, as well as the challenges and obstacles they face.

This format of webinar is an effective communication tool as it offers a platform to present and disseminate research findings in an accessible manner, ensuring that key information reaches a wide audience, including those unable to attend in person.

It also fosters real-time interaction and exchange among migrant women engaged in local politics, providing valuable opportunities for peer-to-peer learning and networking.
